The Code of Conduct

is the living expression of who a CC Woman is. It is not a list of rules imposed from above; it is the standard we hold ourselves to, collectively, because we believe it matters. In joining The Culinary Collective, each member agrees to embody these values not only within CC spaces, but in the way she moves through the world.

The CC Woman: Who She Is

A CC Member is defined not only by one aspect of her life, but by how she carries herself. She is intentional, accomplished, and grounded, navigating passions, ambition, relationships, wellbeing, and personal growth with care and discipline.

She is confident yet warm, polished without performance, and selective without pretence. She brings both presence and ease into every space she enters, and she understands that true success lies not only in what she does, but in how she does it & who she impacts.

She is curious, open, and culturally aware. She loves culinary experiences — the table, the kitchen, the glass raised among friends — as a language for building connection, solving problems, and celebrating life.

She contributes as much as she receives. She uplifts without expectation, shares without gatekeeping, and engages with depth rather than performance.

Standards of Conduct

Respect & Kindness

Every member, guest, venue partner, and member of the CC team is to be treated with warmth, dignity, and respect at all times. There is no place within this collective for unkindness, dismissiveness, or condescension; however it may be expressed.

CC is a space without hierarchy. The woman who runs a hedge fund and the woman who runs the school charity committee are equally revered. We do not rank one another by title, income, or status.

Authenticity Over Performance

Members are encouraged to show up as themselves — fully, honestly, and without pretence. CC is not a space for personal branding or curated personas. The depth of connection we seek is only possible when we are genuinely present.

Discretion

What is shared in the room stays in the room. Members are trusted to exercise the highest level of discretion regarding the conversations, relationships, and personal details shared within CC gatherings. Gossip, oversharing of others’ stories, or the misuse of connections made within the Collective is entirely contrary to our values and will not be tolerated.

Generosity of Spirit

A CC Woman does not gatekeep. She shares recommendations, introductions, and opportunities freely, trusting that what she gives returns in kind. Transactional thinking has no place at our table. We are here to automatically & effortlessly elevate one another.

This extends to how we speak about other women in and outside of the room. We do not diminish, compete against, or undermine one another. We champion.

Commitment to the Collective

Membership is a privilege and a commitment. Members are asked to engage authentically — to attend events they have confirmed, to communicate openly if plans change, and to contribute to the culture of the community in a way that enriches it.

CC is built on quality over quantity. We would rather have fewer members who are deeply engaged than a large group who are passively present.

Conduct at Events

At all CC events, members are expected to:

  • Arrive on time and prepared to be present — phones away where possible, and attention given generously to the experience around you;

  • Be inclusive and welcoming to all members and guests, particularly those attending for the first time;

  • Consume alcohol responsibly and considerately;

  • Treat all venue staff and partners with the same courtesy extended to fellow members;

  • Behave in a manner that reflects well on the Collective, both during and after the event.

Online & Social Media

Members are welcome and encouraged to share the spirit of CC experiences on their own channels in a way that feels natural to them. When doing so, we ask that members:

  • Seek informal consent before tagging other members in photographs or posts;

  • Avoid sharing sensitive, private, or identifying information about other members;

  • Represent the Collective in a manner consistent with its values and tone.

CC may repost or share content created by members that positively reflects the community. We will always seek to credit and acknowledge accordingly.

Conflicts & Concerns

We are human, and from time to time, misunderstandings may arise. Members who have a concern about the conduct of another member or a CC experience are encouraged to raise it directly with the CC team in confidence. We are committed to addressing concerns with care, fairness, and discretion.

CC will not tolerate harassment, discrimination, or intimidation of any kind — whether in person, online, or through any other channel. Any such conduct may result in immediate termination of membership.

“This is more than a table. It is a commitment to something more intentional.”
